Issues of note:

Third party apps feel like they’re “included” to newbies, even though their not…which sucks because some of them have outstanding bugs.

I’d like to see:

Playback and Recording tabs built into Volume control, like with PulseAudio Volume control. The distro that does this really wins Linux audio.
